Just an interesting point of note - my original hope was to do this mod and then install comma so for more robust self driving. On the comma forums, I was discussing technicals with some other knowledgeable members/developers and this is what they had to say.

For model years prior to 25, did copilot include LKAS? Because my 25 definitely does, and it sounds like if one were able to bypass encryption and then write a custom firmware to the rack and pinion, you could theoretically bypass the ccm radar module altogether.

Yes if someone figure out how to make comma AI work with tron encryption there would be no reason to even fool with the radar and LKA but I haven't seen any progress on figuring out the encryption.

In case any of y'all are not watching the DIY mega thread, as of last night adaptive cruise is confirmed working on the 2025 XL/XLT. The 2024 CCMs we tried earlier in this thread were the issue all along, in addition to finding the right edits in forscan. I ordered a CCM based on @johnnydale11 observation, they are showing up on Ebay and such finally for about $200. Apparently there are some variants from the f150 that might be compatible too.

The U2101 (incompatible configuration) errors are due to the modules disagreement with each other on what the truck can do. Once every relevant module was configured, that particular DTC disappeared, the CCM was talking, and all that needed to be done was mount it.

Here is the updated Forscan edit list, based on my XL. You may find that some of your values are different than mine on the before config, if so lmk and I can update it as people try this to include other variations, and the correct target for those starting points.

Oh its already installed and working. Tested it last night.
You are awesome. So I'm going to do this on my 2025 XLT. So basically the big thing is the ccm. Besides that just have to add pins to the impa connector for the 4 wires right? Power, ground, and 2 can wires. And obviously the steering wheel controls changed out, which I already have. Do you know if you can just leave the turn signal with lka or does it need changed to the one without?

Correct. I bought the bracket as well, but some guys got creative with the install. If you want the oem parts, get the air deflector SZ6Z-8327-B to avoid having to cut up the old one. It would have sped things up greatly for me. see my post here for pics.
