Not really.... if Ford corrected the issue with the hood shaking the one with the hump does a much better job of protecting not only the hood but the windshield as well from flying debris. I beleive Ford had discontinued that version when it made the hood on the Maverick shake as it acted as a wind foil. Cheaper fix to discontinue than beefing up the hood.They did you a favor and sent you the best one....

I thought the satin one with the bump was discontinued because it caused hood flutter?
I prefer to look at it differently. Rather it being a issue of the deflector causing the flutter instead of beefing up the hood struts Ford just discontinued the part even though it did a better job of protecting the front end of the Maverick. Much cheaper fix IMHO but not as effective as the one with the hump.

Your best option is to dispute the charge with your credit card company. But, you will eventually hav e to provide concrete evidence that what you ordered was NOT what you received.This was the last response from the owner "I am the owner of this company and this will be the last contact from us. You received what you ordered, plain and simple. If you ordered through a picture in hopes that it would somehow fit your friends exact vehicle, that was incorrectly done. Once again, I urge you to not only take my word for it, but contact other Ford dealerships and see for yourself."
1. I did not receive what I ordered.
2. They refuse to exchange the product for the correct one I ordered.
3. They claim the one with the bump will not fit the 2022 MY (plenty of people on here with a 22MY running this hood deflector proves otherwise)
4. My google review, BBB complaint, and this thread are all meant to bring attention to the shady business practices and to help others avoid working with this company.

I bought one purely for esthetics, I don’t really believe that they actually deflect every airborne rock that has a trajectory for the front of the vehicle.
Every rock that has hit my windshields over the years never touched my hood first.
It’s funny to hear everyone saying how they never get them after installing.
