There are six metal fasteners to hold the door card or door panel in place. Five of them are fairly obvious, but the sixth is hidden behind a red reflector.
Several excellent videos are available that show you how to remove the door cards in order to install speakers or sound baffling, etc. But in many of them, the fastener behind the reflector is not removed, so they end up pulling that plastic sleeve out of the door.
I did this myself the first time I removed a door card, but unscrewing that fastener would limit the likelihood of breaking off that plastic sleeve.
Pry down from the top with a trim removal tool.
Not a lot of force is required to remove the reflectors.
The fastener is a 7mm on my 23 Hybrid.
Here is the receiver, a plastic sleeve that fits into the metal of the door frame.
