Just FWIW. I bought a 60" x 96" x 1/4" Red Barn utility/stall mat at Tractor Supply a couple of weeks ago, and took advantage of a relatively warm day yesterday to mark and cut it (used a combination of utility knife and upholstery shears) for a bed mat. Came out pretty good: I did cut about 3/32" outside my line (tough to see colored marker on a black mat) at the right front. so that twists the entire mat footprint a tiny, tiny bit, but it essentially lays flat enough. I did measure and cut it to fit all of the bed contours, which was a little fiddly, but I'm pretty happy with the result. I also had enough to cut a piece to cover the tailgate if and when needed, and the two indents I cut for the fender wells I saved for use on top of the wells if I ever use the trick of carrying 4' x 8' sheet goods supported by those wells and the partially open tailgate. I took my first drive with it in today, was on the Garden State Parkway at up to 70 in heavy rain and blustery wind with no sign of it budging (I don't have anything in particular securing it). Maybe the rain helped hold it down, but I'm hoping for the same behavior in dry weather. The cut mat was fairly heavy, I'm guessing about 20 - 25 lbs. I may go back and trim the right front a little better, but it won't be in this rain. No photos at least for today, for the same reason.
