Received vin # from dealer rep today!

I ordered a 2023 xlt hybrid 9/17/22. Received Vin # from my salesman this morning but no build date yet. Could be a harbinger of a large scheduling week for many of you that are still waiting!

My dealer gave me a “build date” a couple of weeks ago, but only after talking with Ford yesterday did I get a VIN.

It just seems to be a broke system!

Sounds like the dealer didn't give your email address to Ford.

He swears that he did, and the Ford lady on the phone said that they have it.

Since reordering my '23 to a '24 on 7/17 have not received any notifications from Ford. I contacted them to verify that they had the order and priority 2 - Ford confirmed it. Got vin # from dealer yesterday but nothing from Ford as of yet.

Remember, your order is with the dealer not Ford. Ford provides info to your dealer who is your primary source of info. Ford provides some courtesy info to customers but building the vehicles is their priority.
