So... I had my 2022 XL serviced at a dealer. I got the majority of the "Software" recalls done, an oil change, and a tire rotation. Got my Mav back and found the Cruise Control I had installed no longer working.
I did the Cruise Control install myself; got Forscan, the Motorcraft switches, and programmed it all and it worked fantastic.
Would I be in the wrong in asking the dealer to fix my CC? Would they charge me for the programming since the XL doesn't have factory CC?
Anyway, I'm a little peeved. 😤
Yes and they won't fix it. That is why you export your settings prior to them doing software updates.

So you were ahead of the game and saved all your mod's after you made them - so only had to re-apply them?
Of course - only had to re-enable one line of code in the SCCM. Not difficult, just inconvenient if you have your vehicle serviced via the dealer.

Anyone else pull their asbuilts from the motorcraft website using VIN?
I don't know when it did, maybe on the last SYNC update, but my 2025 as built from the website changed to reflect things I did to the truck. For example the EQ flat on 727-01-02 is reflected in the file I got from ford, a few other changes on other modules too. It might be worth pulling that file if you lost your config and dont remember everything you changed.
