Recalls don't shoot me

So I called to schedule the 3 recalls I have, taillights, BCM PCM. The dealer stated they would need the car for 1-2 days depending on how loaded the sever being used. Is this typical? Can this be done my the owner at home?

Had those 3 recalls done about a week ago. I was at the dealership for half an hour.

Just When I was going to Schedule My Truck Recalls to be addressed ....

I'll take that as a Sign and try again in a few months

I had recalls 24S27 Body Control Module BCM Software Update, 24C01 Instrument Panel Cluster IPC Illumination and 23C41 Turn Signal Outage Detection Failure done by Five Star Ford of Dallas Ford Mobile Service.

They too are having the same problem with the CDK hack but they did the recalls with no issues as the Ford recall software is not affected. I just got an email handwritten filled out form showing the three recalls completed with date/mileage/VIN name and address. When the hack is fixed I will receive a more proper form.

I see no reason your dealer couldn't do the same.

I had 5 recall patches installed by a mobile tech in my driveway (23S27, 24S27, 24C01, 23C41, 23E09). I think my dealership just started this, since the option did not seem to exist a few months ago.
Most of my settings were reset to the factory defaults, and my TPMS had to be re-paired with each wheel transmitter. Miles remaining in tank remains "off" but I have hopes...

I dropped off the truck at 8:30 AM and got a call before 10:00 saying it was done. 3 recalls and the Works package. My local dealer doesn't offer the mobile service.

I had my three really done along with oil change and tire rotation. Took them about an hour and a half for everything.
