Rear window defroster

I am really upset that I am not getting a rear defroster. It was listed on the web site when I ordered and was a big part of why I ordered the Lariat. Please everyone, stop making excuses for Ford and saying it isn't needed or is difficult. My wife's Ram 1500 bighorn (one model up from the base work truck) has one with the sliding window. It gets used often to defog the window. It is really lame that even the highest trim of the Maverick doesn't have it. Every car or truck I have purchased in the last 40 years has had a rear defroster. This is not normal or ok. The sad thing is, it looks like it would be easy to add one to the XL or XLT non sliding window but not the with the sliding window. I need the upgraded stereo, nicer wheels, signature lighting and other features of the Lariat so i wont be switching to an XLT just to add a defroster. Rear window defrost will be standard on the 2023. Along with Sync4. Early adopters get hosed again! *shaking fist*

I ordered on 11-11. Maybe they wont build mine for 22 and I will get a defroster in a 23. Even my 2003 Dodge truck had rear defrost.

I wanted the rear window defroster on my Mav as well. I worked with Fostfighter on their kit for the Mav. Very straight forward install. You get power from unused fuse 24 in the fuse panel. drill a small hole on dash beside radio on flat white/blue part. Run the power to the rear window defroster along the floor on right side. Install rear grid and done. Looks great. I love how it looks.
