While that is true, I have yet to see a single person confirm that they have a rear window defroster.

That's a fair point. I took that screenshot right before I posted that reply, so it's still on the website builder as of now. And it's at least part of the reason I went Lariat.

I hope you're wrong. Would love for someone with a Lariat to confirm.

I have a Lariat Lux which I by the way I ordered on 6-15 and received on 11-03 and it does not have rear window defrost and does have electric sliding window. (It should more appropriately be called a rear portal.)

How do you know? I looked at the pictures and there is an extra defrost button on the lariat lux that others do not have.
