So hopefully I'll be getting my truck in June and there's always been a slight hesitation with these more compact cars when it comes to rear facing car seats
A few years ago, I almost got the Bronco Sport but after I brought in my Diono Rear Facing to test out, it was 100% no go (I'm 5-10") as my knees touched the glove box. Note that the Bronco Sport actually has MORE leg room than the Maverick. (36.9" vs 35.9").....am I scaring you yet if you're in the same height category as me!?
Well lo and behold (and I'm sorry if you dont have a Diono) but I discovered the Angle Adjuster! https://store.diono.com/angle-adjuster/ !!!! This is night and day. Mind you, I have not tested it on a Maverick yet BUT I tested it in my small ass Impreza (33.5" legroom) and I was able to sit in the front relatively comfortably!! So I'll be damned if this rear facing solution won't work in the Maverick.
If anyone who has a rear facing Diono with angle adjuster, please post to confirm this hypothesis!
