RealTruck Elevate Rack Failing

The coating on my RealTruck Elevate rack is failing. I took a picture with it off the truck. Also the rubber trip piece on top is coming part. Any suggestions on how to fix? It is flaking off. Would like to get some help since its supposed to have a lifetime warranty. Any suggestions?

I suggest that you contact RealTruck file a warranty claim as soon as possible

Have a similar issue - bought an Elevate CS rack second hand. After about a year of owning it, the paint started lifting at the edges. Now after another year or so, most of the paint has flaked off. It's happening on the brackets only, not the straight extrusion pieces. You can peel the paint away and it comes off in huge paper-like pieces with really no adhesion to the metal.

Unfortunately the fix for me was to buy a second Elevate rack new on a good sale so that I could benefit from the lifetime warranty. It didn't seem worthwhile to move to another type of rack given that I already have the Elevate rails & a Lo Pro cover.

Have not mounted mine yet. Got mine second hand too. Maybe I should plastidip the mounts

Lifetime warranty to the original owner, they wouldn't help at this point.. The paint is flaking off in chunks (like 3 inch by 1 inch was the last one) so it isn't a matter of the paint getting scratched off but the underlying surface not being prepped right.

Probably won't buy anything from them (I bought the rails and the hard 3 piece cover from them, hope they hold up).

Any corrosion in the rail? Or is the paint flaking off only on the brackets in your photo?
