What if the repair tech didn't notice or correct the vent tube placement?

I don't think the Maverick has the same weird vent tube as the bronco sport, but I've never gotten into one.

Hi all I’ve been having some trouble with my Maverick clunking and shifting poorly. Turns out that it was the clutch pack in the RTU. They did a full RTU replacement on the vehicle and it seems like the problem has been solved, but they did tell me that I should keep an eye out for any other drive training issues as this failure may have worn components out.

Can anyone on here give me an idea of what kind of things I should be looking for around premature failure within the drivetrain?

They just tell you that when they have a few bolts left over after doing the repair.

I have a 2022 EboBoost AWD with 4k package, and I also had the RDU replaced at just over 30k kilometers (around 20K in miles, I think). I am not certain all Ford dealers know what to do when one of these trucks present with with RDU issues. I've been told a flush and fill with new fluid usually solves the problem, but my dealer opted to replace the whole thing (under warranty, of course)

Anyone send a RDU fluid sample to Blackstone for analysis? I’m planning to change my Lobo fluid soon & send a sample in for analysis. I’m sure the results will show “viscosity fine, wear metals present” but what the hey.

After my warranty ran out of my 2022 Ford Maverick, my gear shifter needed replaced at approximately 60,000 miles.
