Just curious… has anyone pulled the carpet back or possibly removed a door panel. I do some restoration work on some of my cars and am curious about the insulation, under carpet padding and interior door panels. I use this stuff to improve road noise, vibrations, temperature insulation and slight improvement in stereo sound quality. I use it in the roof and door panels as well. The improvements are noticeable.

Thinking like me. If mine was built, I would be wondering the same thing. Figure road noise would drop majorly.

I'm torn between Area 51 and Cactus Gray for my favorite color, you just merged them and solved my problem :) I don't have my Maverick yet but based on this being an economical vehicle adding this throughout the vehicle would be extremely beneficial.

I replaced the speakers on my XLT hybrid and put the sound dampening on the doors prior to putting the panels back on. Also did part of the rear panel behind the rear seat. Sound difference was noticeable first drive afterwards. Much quieter and less tingy.
Been meaning to do the floor and the rest of the rear panel but haven't gotten around to it. My guess is doing the floor will make a huge difference.
Will think about doing the roof.

Yup, I didn't want to pull the door glass so I was limited to what I could reach from the speaker hole but it helped. I also did the back wall and under the rear seat bins, that made a huge difference when driving with the seats folded (up or down) and I feel like the deadener and foam sheet under the bins quells rattling from hard objects in the bins.
