So I took possession of mine on Aug 3rd. Super easy transaction, everything in great shape based on all of the checklists.
The only thing I noticed was when I closed the tailgate for the first time, there was the sound of metal falling through cracks. I've had enough 'northern' vehicles to recognize the sound. It was a rusty snowflake falling. I noticed that, in the drain holes of the bed (near the cab), every one of them was clogged with rust pieces. Then, I began seeing rust chunks the size of dimes and quarters sneaking out of nooks and crannies.
I assumed it's just rail glitter, or from the hauler. Anyone else notice this?
