I am not sure. I have the Uniden R8W and it's supposed to pick them up. But in my area not many cameras for it to alert to. Check out Vortex he is the expert on this and I went by his testing to choose them. https://www.vortexradar.com

Exactly. I just like to know when they're around. I also run 7-10 over on the interstate, never speeding through small towns as those towns are revenue hungry.Why is it that if I have a Radar Detector I am assumed to be a pedal to the metal speeder?!?! Not the case at all...
I used to run a Escort Max 360 until I got tired of the false positives, seems like Tesla and grocery store doors set it off a lot. I moved back to a Valentine V1, at least it tells you if its a junk signal.

+1. The best speeding ticket deterent I ever purchased was an added benefit of buying a Hybrid.Save money on a radar detector and speeding tickets by not speeding. It’s really easy (and free) to not speed.
Besides.... most cops I have had the pleasure of speaking to have always said "keep it under 10 over". Havent got a ticket since.

Had a similar experience with an escort max 360c mkii, even after their big firmware update - falsed like crazy when it touts not doing that.
My r4w with vortex recommend settings is very quiet.
I use Vortex settings as well on the R8W and it's quiet too. Almost always when it screams it's a cop for sure very rare it has false alerts.
