Questions for owners who have received their vehicles.

I went to dealer to day and gave him the list of options I wanted. My list was originally had less items because I didn't want a delay. The dealer advised me to order it how I want it and Ford will contact me before they start the build and ask if there are certain options I would like to remove because it will cause a delay. Did anyone that ordered a Maverick have that experience from Ford?

Items I initially kept off the build but now have added
Spray in bed liner
Moon roof
Splash guard
Hard trifold tonneau cover
CO-pilot 360 Only if I get the XL because I want the sliding window. Leaning toward XLT though.

If Ford truly says these items will cause a delay I don't mind keeping them in the build and delete them later if needed. If Ford has not been good about that type of communication I would just skip them in the build and get them aftermarket and skip the moon roof if a big delay.

What has your experience been?

I'd only keep the moonroof and Copilot 360. The others can be added by the dealer or third parties afterwards.

If you're interested in speed, you'll probably want to go with the XLT and drop everything but the moonroof (the only thing not easily added aftermarket).

Take off the Spray in bed liner, Splash guard and Hard trifold tonneau cover. You can get them after you get the truck. I had my dealer add a spray in bed liner once my truck came in. I then ordered a tonneau from RealTruck at a nice discounted price and installed it myself!

The dealer doesn't get informed very exactly which items will hold up a build. They may or may not notify you what they've been notified.

I agree with others that the only items you should keep are the Trim level you want, the moonroof, Co360. Others can be done later, and can be shopped around.
