So a quick question on ruling out a defective Can bus feed to my Lariat hybrid instrument cluster whose center display has gone black. The outside gauges for power and speedometer light up and function fine. Is it reasonable to assume the Can bus data feed is not the culprit? BTW I’ve already tried the fuse reset and battery disconnect/ reconnect to no avail.
One thing bothering me is by following the fuse location mapping for location 21 / 22 listed as the fuse that controls that circuit it calls for a 7.5 size fuse. The current fuse in there is a 25. When it gets pulled the climate control shuts down which verifies it’s the right fuse since that’s what shares that fuse location.
