hey hey y’all

happy Monday!!
I wanted to ask if you have your truck lifted? If so by how much? Do you have your truck leveled?

What tires do you have? And if you get your truck lifted does it void the warranty?

thx y’all

It won't void the whole warranty, but if parts fail that are related to the modification, certain warranty repairs may be denied.

I have Firestone Destination AT2s, in my few hundred hours of autistic research, they were the best in class mild-AT tire that can get you pretty well anywhere without entirely ruining fuel econ...

Don't bother with any "trail" terrain tire either, they are simultaneously worse in every category and don't cost any less, while not benefiting one or the other aspect of driving in any appreciable way.

As someone told me nearly a year ago, and my experience has only proven it, these trucks can already get places they should not be able to, adding a lift will just make extra sure you get to places you won't be able to get out of... Few people with Tremors in these forums have done a LOT of work to see how far they can push the mav and the results are always the same, which is nowhere near as far as a ranger and the price is likely nearing double digit percentages above one

Just my 0.02, get some good tires and have fun with what you can

The only lift kits available are just simple pucks, not including a subframe-drop assembly required on a unibody vehicle. So if you lift it then you increase the CV joint angles. The halfshafts are a weak point on the Mav, so you will probably eat them and be denied warranty. My Lariat is just about level, but I think that there are some other models with the rear up higher for some reason. If you really want to level it, drop the rear instead of lifting the front. If you want the lifted fake-offroad stance, just put higher-profile tires on it, fix the speedo calculation in the Engineering Test mode screen and don't touch the shock towers.

This is incorrect information. There are multiple full suspension replacement lifts and lowers available for the Maverick including the Hybrid

I have yet to see one. Can you point out one that has anything other than a puck and possibly longer swaybar links? All of ones currently out there change the CV joint angles. In order to prevent that from happening, you need to lower the engine, and there are absolutely no lift kits that have those pieces.

No offense but you must not have looked hard.

Nope, that kit does not fix the CV joint angle problem. I looked at their kit about a year ago. It needs the addition of a new subframe to drop the engine and trans down lower, and its not there for the frontend. They do it for the rear only. Most of the price is associated with replacing the stock strut assemblies with longer ones and adding adjustable shocks.

You're moving the goalpost... The CV is a point of failure on unmodified mavericks regardless, but your original claim was the only product available being puck lifts which is simply and entirely untrue.

There is a new CV for the Maverick anyways, so anyone that DOES have a failure will be getting a better product from the recent reports, moving forward.

You can move the goalpost all you want, I don't particularly give a shit about what you have to say.
Your initial argument and my point of dispute was in the existence of ONLY puck lifts, which is empirically untrue.

Try to enjoy your day.

In fact, I am just going to ignore you now, so don't bother replying to me.

Not really at all, actually, just don't have time for stupidity. The claim was that no lift exists except for puck lifts, I say that is incorrect and link one, then they say "well, actually blah blah blah" I don't give a shit, was just trying to help OP and that's all there is to it, if someone is going to share blatantly false information then move the goalpost, that is their prerogative
