I'm getting ready to do one to take care of the shifting in this truck but have a question about throttle response when turning.
I've noticed this thing severely cuts the throttle down when trying to accelerate with the wheel turned past a certain point. I live in a place where there is a 60 (speed limit, but 70's) mph divided 4 lane road that has side roads that can join traffic in either direction with no on ramps. Trying to pull onto this road and having the throttle hold back from how much I'm pushing the pedal only to blast off when the wheel becomes closer to centered is...an experience. Same with pulling across traffic only to make a turn and have the throttle cut back on power delivery as you turn left into the far lanes.
I am getting no abs or traction control warnings or lights, just a throttle doing what I expect only to restrict power and then back to expected as the wheel is turned less.
Anyone else experience this, and did a tune do anything?
