Priority 19 is the standard setting a dealer uses to order a vehicle. I believe they are allowed 10-19. Anything below is for Ford and reserved for fixing mistakes or prioritizing orders for say a roll over from year to year etc.

As an example, mine was a 19 in 2023 and the beginning of 2024 but shortly after Ford changed it to a 2 just before it was built.

They changed it, dealers can go below 10 now.
Not sure any use it though.

The number only matters within your dealership. If all orders are 19, then you are equal to everyone else. I believe a lot of dealers don’t bother changing from the default 19.

The more important thing is how many allocations your dealer has for Maverick. And how many orders your dealer has for them. For example, you could be their only order, but will not get scheduled until they get an allocation from Ford corporate. Allocations are handed out based on some formula around sales and how long vehicles take to sell.

Once the dealer has allocations, Ford looks at the orders the dealer has. They start with the oldest order (at the lowest priority) the dealer has and see if it is something they can build it, for the week they are looking to schedule. If it can, that one gets picked, if not, they go to the next one at that dealership; and so on.

Ahhh yes, it all came back to me... I had 344 days to learn how their convoluted system worked while I waited. 🤣
