Ordered Lariat hybrid in early August and now the window sticker MSRP is $400 more today than when ordered. QUESTION: Was 501A when ordered in August have Protrailor Hitch and Backup assist included ? I thought those two item were included when ordered but now guessing they are charging me for those items. Also the $100 price increase. Should I have to pay this additional $400 ?

You are price protected. The dealer will be reimbursed the $400 by Ford for the price difference. However, there are some sandy dealers who may insist you pay the extra $400. This did happen to 1 MTC member.

Yup. My window sticker also shows $400 more. Hopefully they don’t give me a hard time and try to make me pay it.

From everything I've read, it's a $100 price increase, and a $300 change as more trailer assist was added (rather, a $300 credit/discount during job 1 for it being missing)

So the $100 gets credited to the dealer, who should (in decency) pass it on. The $300, however, the dealer has to pay.

My Lariat Mav went into production yesterday, and I just downloaded my window sticker. It also shows a $400 increase. There is no pro trailer feature listed on it, but I don't know if it is something that shows up there. I guess I will know in a month or so.

If you're wanting Price Protection, tell the dealer up front, at the time you place the order. Ask your sales guy by text, so you'll have proof they agreed to it later, if they balk on delivery day.

They get reimbursed by Ford, whether they pass along the savings to you or not.
