Price protection for waiting 2 model years.

So I ordered a hybrid Maverick in late October of ‘21 and it’s still not been built. My dealer is rolling it to a ‘24. I had price protection of $2,750 when it rolled to a ‘23. I’ll get price protection when (if) it’s built as a ’24. My dealer thinks my ’22 to ‘23 price protection will go away. That’s a final straw for me. Anybody heard if or how price pro will work for someone who’s had to wait for 2 model years?

That is called transitional private offer. Price protection only happens within the model year. There is no price protection when moving from one year to another.

They don't know if you can stack multiple transitional private offers from multiple years, but they are saying it is possible. So, just go place your 2024 order and we will know more later when the 2023 -> 2024 transitional private offer comes out and maybe they will allow for stacking of multiple transitional private offers. Who knows... just order and go from there, as no one really knows right now.

Latest rumor is they will have the final rules/amounts by August for private offers.
