Price Protection and Farm Bureau Offer? Ordered Sept '22

I ordered back in September and have signed up for Farm Bureau for over 30 days. I am about to pick up my truck but the dealer is having some difficulties applying the Farm Bureau $500 discount, which they think may be because of the price protection I received since prices have gone up a few hundred dollars. How did you guys get the Farm Bureau discount and price protection? Does the $500 get taken off at the time of sale or did you have to wait for a check? Is there something specific the dealer has to do to get it to work?

Mine had no problem with that or the mustang club of America Discount.if the person doing paper work is new they may not know how it works though.
