So I get my 2024 Maverick tomorrow. While setting up the Ford Pass tonight, I could see my previous Maverick was still on my account. This has been over a year and a half. I had deleted the app from my phone, but I guess could have started the truck from my phone. I could see that it was located in a city in southern Texas, had over 10,000 miles on it. Had low tire pressure in January of this year. I had no idea that it would still show on the app.

You have to remove the vehicle from your account, not just delete the app.

The 2nd owner must not have reset the system. If he/she tried to add the Maverick to FordPass while it was still connected to yours, you would have had to given him/her permission.
Otherwise, if they reset the FordPass in SYNC/APIM, then all of the connections are severed, and they can add to theirs.

I sold my previous 2022 Maverick to Carvana and they took some time before they wiped the account. In the month they had it before putting it up for sale I could see it moved from Frisco TX up to Oklahoma City where they must have a body shop facility because the roof needed some repairs and repainting.

Friend was a contractor for Ford a couple years ago and previous owners could easily remote start and manage other function of vehicles they no longer owned. Fun times. lol
