Preparing for August Road trip!

Hey everyone, I finally picked up my 2024 Lariat Hybrid. It's everything I thought it would be and more.

I'm planning a road trip in August from SoCal to Texas, Colorado, Utah, Oregon, through NorCal then home.

I'm trying to figure out a Rooftop Tent situation. I love the GFC full set up, but I can't afford it right now. Ideally I'll save up for that another year.

Anyone have some more affordable suggestions? We'll be travelling for at least a month. Staying with friends here and there but staying in the Truck a lot.

Thank you! I'm really excited, I haven't done a long roadtrip since I got out of the army. Back then we did roadtrips every chance there was a 3-day weekend. So I'm looking forward to driving through the states again with my dog and my girlfriend.
