I use this. It's a small fridge/freezer, but I bought the magnetic battery pack. I also have a bed rack with a rooftop tent above it so it might not get as hot as your tonneau cover is hit by the sun directly.

This was the installation I was going to follow but it's not on a lariat, so I'm just trying to make sure I don't miss anything that might be different. The sensor was the biggest concern for me.
Got it! So you removed the sensor off of the stock grill and added it to the raptor, is everything working well? Hope you don't mind me trying to make that happen for myself.
