Powertrain fault light

Just stopped for gas and when I started up to leave, the powertrain fault indicator light came on. Small wrench on display panel. Hybrid, Lariat, Lux. Have no idea what it could be, all has been good through 1,400 miles. It will be several days before I have a chance to get to a dealer to check it.

The CEL (check engine light) will come on if the fuel system doesn't pressurize correctly--which could have occurred since you said the error started after fueling up. Maybe just pop open the fuel door and close it again to see if the error clears.
