I will be getting my loooooong awaited Lariet Maverick next month. The driver's seat has power settings but the passenger has manual settings. Does anyone know if it is possible to convert the manual seat to a power seat?

I have thought about it. Should just need power run to it, no other wires to main harness. The easiest would seem to be getting a seat from a wrecked Escape (or probably a Bronco Sport). They seem to have the same floor pan. I know the front floor mats on my ‘20 Escape are an exact match to my Maverick. Then transfer the underneath from the donor seat to the Mav seat. Mounting the switches would be the next thing. I didn’t get far enough to see of the Escape seat side trim matches the Mav; my Escape passenger seat is manual.

I actually want to add memory seat to the drivers side. Turns out the 10 way/memory seat has different motors than the 8 way. Basically, the 8 way is missing encoders (position detectors). There is a module under the seat needed. There is also a module in the door that might need updating. I gave up on that.

Thank you for the good ideas about the other vehicles' seat as possibilities.

It's more of a time/money proposition vs a possibility.

It would have to be a fully self supported modification since there is no OEM Maverick option. Aftermarket, or adapting another OEM Ford seat/harness network are your two options.....and both will be expensive & labor heavy.

Thank you and that is what I feared. It would be nice to have but most likely not worth the effort and money.

Here is the wiring diagram for the Escape passenger seat. You can see it just needs power and ground from the vehicle.
