Possible bug with Spotify/Call ending?

Does anyone else have a problem with Spotify glitching out after hanging up from a phone call? Everytime I answer a call with Android auto while I'm listening to Spotify after i hang up it'll show the song as still playing but you can't hear it. It's not muted and there seems to be nothing I can do to fix it besides unplugging and plugging back in. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong haven't had much time to test it. Seems like if it is a bug it can be fixed easily with a software update.

For anyone else having the issue, it's an Android Auto issue on certain model phones. Here is a workaround until Android Auto gets fixed (if it gets fixed):
