Is it just me or is the Maverick not an option on that calculator?

What is everyone using for an air mattress? I keep seeing people say a full size fits perfect but all the ones im looking at look to big (at least between the wheel wells). Are you making a platform above the wheel wells and putting the mattress there?

I think its fair to say this is definitely at the top end of what the hybrid can/should handle. I can tell you by looking at it that its somewhere between 2x-3x more frontal area then the max of 20sqft for the hybrid.

Just gotta make sure you dont load it with to much stuff

Very nice, been looking for a teardrop for the Mav for awhile, thought i had all my options but havent come across this model somehow. Seems a little bit big height/width wise but the weight dimensions look perfect for the mav. How do you like it, how does the quality of the build feel? Thanks

I think a big part of oil companies hesitation is the push to electric cars and phasing out gas powered engines. I think its a fair point to consider oil companies hesitation to invest a lot of $ in a new project that is actively being phased out. But yea putin and permits or whatever.

As with all issues, there are a variety of factors that contribute to the lack of new drilling. I don't think the main reason oil companies are forgoing profit on unused permits is because they want more permits....that will go further unused?

Im confused if they see that the current environment is ripe for profit then why would they not use the current permits and begin drilling?

Nice pad, have you tried carrying 2 bikes? I really want to get this pad but looking at some pictures online, it looks to me like the tires might brush up against the tailgate paint. Just looks pretty tight with 2 bikes.

Frontal area will simply be exterior height x exterior width. A 8x7 trailer has a frontal area of 56ft

The problem I see is even if you option for 4k package the increase of frontal area to 40sq ft is still not enough to pull even most teardrop trailers. The tiny numcamp tab is around 49 sq ft

That just seems crazy to me, most small teardrops are around 8x8 so even those exceed the 40sq ft restriction

Yea the dry weight is def pushing it, but im thinking there are trailers with comparable physical size with a weight of around 2800lbs that i think should be fine from a weight aspect. Im more interested in the frontal area.
