Congratulations. Your Mav traveled a long way. I know the excitement of an early Christmas but when it arrives, do a careful visual check including standing in the bed to inspect the roof for damage, get on your hands and knees and look under it etc. The cover panel under the engine may have a large rectangular opening that looks like something is missing. It is a modification by Ford, not a defect.

Thanks everyone! Slight hiccup today, the van I was trading in today literally broke down on the side of the highway in rush hour on my way to trade it in, just a few kms from the dealer
So my pick up of the Maverick got delayed by a day while I sort this out, but one thing turned out well…I took the old van to a scrap yard and got twice what the dealer was going to give me as a trade in!
Will post pics when I actually take delivery, assuming I can get there this time
