Phone connectivity

I was wondering if someone could help me. My phone is connected to the truck but if my phone is not unlocked the truck tells me to unlock my device. What do I change on my phone so that I don't have to unlock it to call somebody. I forgot to mention I have a Android phone.

You would have to go into your phones settings, under Bluetooth and allow it to auto unlock under trusted devices and select your Maverick as a trusted device if your phone allows for that.

You can go into Android Auto and turn on "start Android auto while locked".

Bluetooth Settings> Android Auto> Enable: "Start Android Auto while locked."
