Perfect bed height for hauling projects

I’ve had my Maverick for just over a year now and it’s been amazing. I’ve done just about everything with this truck that I ever did with my F150. This morning I was loading up my torn apart 5.0 roller motor to take to the shop to get cleaned/inspected, and I was able to slide the 5.0 fox body block on the engine stand just over the top of the tailgate, lay some 2x4’s down for support, unbolt the motor, and slide it right into the bed. This just further goes to show that for many of us, the bed height and capabilities are perfect for our everyday needs. Unlike in larger lifted trucks, I didn’t need the cherry picker to lift the block 4 feet in the air and i didn’t need a ladder to be able to reach into the bed from the side rails to load or unload. The Maverick is making my life easier one day at a time lol.

Ladder to get in the back??? Some are in my area that require a 6' step ladder to get into the cab. I often wonder if they do not have to take altered routes to be able to safely get thru overpasses LOL.

Yup! My 5'4" wife can get stuff out over the sides of the bed without trouble.

Yeah, love the bed height even as a 6'4" tall guy. I can just step right into the bed
