Yeah, Ford has completely scrapped the spray-in liners at this point, and the Luxury Package now comes with a drop-in liner. I thought about the sliding rear window, but it looks so SMALL, and then I asked myself, how often is anyone actually going to be back there? Nice to have, but I was too cheap to spring for it. I felt the same way about the 4K tow package. Nice to have but didn't want to spend another $800 when it seemed like most of what it offered is in the FX4 Package anyway. As for the tires, yeah, I heard the Pirellis are crap. I figure I'll either just drive them until they're shot and then get some decent A/T tires, or else I'll get new tires right off the bat and sell the Pirellis. Looks like folks are getting $75-$100 a tire trading them at local tire shops.

As for delivery dates, honestly I'll be satisfied if it shows up by October. That's when Ford says they are going to start making 2023s, so figure they'll have to be wrapping up 2022 production by then, and based on my order date, I have to be at the back of the line.

In the meantime, I can live vicariously through everyone here who already has a truck. Plus, I'm betting my $31,000 truck will be at least $33,000 or $35,000 for the same build in 2023. With all the inflation, there has to be a big price increase on some of these options, no?

Outdoorsman, I am surprised you opted not to get the sliding window, I only got it because my one piece fishing poles would not fit in bed and didnt want to risk breakage. Guess if need be, could always fabricate something with the slots in bed. Man those pics of the Mav in Hot Pepper Red look awesome. Keeps hope alive for me... any day now.. any day lol

As for the window, I just didn't think I'd have much use for it. One thing I know for sure: I won't be fitting my compound bow through that little sliding window!

Why did you order so far from where you live? I live about 40 miles from Chapman. They are actually in Horsham Township. I bought my CG XLT, Lux, 4k, FX4, 360, off the lot on 11/5. At that time, they had 2 XLT, 1 XL and one Lariat. I was lucky that day. I paid 3k mark up.

Ordering from Chapman is a little more than 2k off MSRP on my build with their 4% under invoice promotion. I have family in Philly so it's worth the trip to snag it and ride back down.
