Pedestrian Sounder Fault - Service Now Driving me Crazy

I have not 100% validated that yet, however, I did find a replacement module on eBay (really cheap!) hoping that was the problem, and it did not solve the issue. The dealer inspection on the issue concluded it was a wiring issue (although I don't really know how they did that, as they did not take off the front-end fascia, and it seems like they just saw the baseplate and it was an easy conclusion to blame that installation for the issue). It was a very tight fit for the speaker relocation when I installed the baseplate, so I'm honestly not surprised that this issue cropped up after everything settled back in place. In retrospect, I should have extended those speaker wires and kept the strain off of them. I was, unfortunately, anxious to get it done, and not have to figure out the best way to extend the wiring.
In addition to the pedestrian sounder fault, I am now noticing play in my Demco baseplate as well. So I guess I have to pull the front end off the truck and see what's going on. Of course this is all happening when I'm 1000 miles from home and in Nova Scotia. Ugh.
Ugh. Sorry to hear that. You definitely do not want any play in the baseplate at all. Hope it's just a simple loose nut or two. Definitely pays to use threadlocker on these things!
I never hear the pedestrian sounder because I'm usually listening to the audio system, so it doesn't bother me any. However, the seat belt warning pop up is annoying enough so I couldn't stand the pedestrian error added to that.

I pulled the front off the truck to find that one of the bolts supplied by Demco had snapped. It was the one holding the extension bracket where the PAD was. The PAD had dropped down a little, possibly from when the bolt snapped and the bracket let loose? I replaced the bolt and tilted the PAD back up and have not had any fault warnings since.

I wish I could just clear the notification, my 2022 hybrid won't "start" with this error. I was able to trick it a couple of times by turning it off, opening the door and retrying starting, but this last time (thankfully in my driveway) I did it 10 times and never got it to start. Ordered a used one from eBay for $150. I'm tired of stupid little things that make this car undrivable, I had the shifter knob go bad as well so I couldn't get it in gear, now this keeps the truck parked again, the 2 dead batteries also left the truck undrivable.
