Howdy from Dallas! Ordered my Maverick on 08/30/2021. I kept overthinking, should I keep my Fusion Hybrid, or get the Maverick? Rarely have I ever kept a vehicle for more than 2 years, and I passed the 3yr mark on the Fusion in September 2021. Yes, I have been called a "Miler", as I try to get a higher MGP on every trip. I run up to Oklahoma on weekends to take care of my parents, and can usually get 40-45mpg doing 75. I try to coast as much as possible. Trips to work are about 17 miles each way, with some steep hills. I usually average about 50mpg in the morning (I always seem to be in a hurry), and can usually get about 60mpg on the way home. Can't wait to see what the Maverick will do. I ordered the Alto Blue XLT with Luxury Package and Sunroof.

I'm usually a bargain shopper, and wait until the new models are coming out, and buy a new car off the lot from the previous year. My Fusion isn't anything special, just an SE, but it made a believer out of me. My 2018 Fusion was purchased on Sept 1st 2018, and got it for $22,000. Like I said, I'm a bargain shopper. It's still a good car, so I'm not worried about a timeline for delivery. I do get the giggles when reading complaints about delivery, especially when they ordered in November.

Happy New Year everyone.

I have a hybrid Fusion and a plug-in hybrid Fusion. I'm keeping both and expect my hybrid Maverick any day.

Taking advantage of the used car market values and selling your Fusion for a profit, and getting a the Maverick for MSRP sounds like a serious win to me!

In a couple weeks, I can give you my feedback on driving the hybrid Fusion vs driving the hybrid Maverick :)

Not sure that I am quite ready for a plug-in or all electric vehicle yet. Especially since I am putting off rewiring my 70+ yr old house.

I am quite ready for Hybrid and/or Plugin as well as all electric vehicles perhaps one of each. Have 11 year old house and am debating solar panels and rewiring house for AC & DC circuits using plug in as backup generator. Also looking at walipini for year round garden plus maybe 2 acre thermal battery for ground source heat pump. Only have 28 acres so am thinking of just flipping setup and starting over on 280 +/- acres but finding 100 +/- people who want to work is rather intimidating. I see where Ford stock is up 12+% today on announcing increasing F150 lightning production. I believe maverick will be prime production item for Ford and will be ordered in mass quantities by fleet sales. Good luck in your rewiring project! 🤗
