Painted (plasti-dip) stock XL rims

I've used Plasti-dip for a bunch of things over the years with great results, but have not done it on wheels. Dismounting/mounting tires, where the edge of the tire scrapes & pulls over the rim's edge... that doesn't ruin its finish on the lip of the rim?

I figured I would worry about that when it is time for new tires, but I am sure it will do some damage. I watched some videos where people touched up some scratched plasti dipped items and they looked good as new. Worst case scenario, I do them over every so often

Yes, matte black, I think Walmart had it for around $8 a can.

I like what you did. I think that closed end lug nuts would look much better on your set up.

Interesting idea. I am not sure the center cap would stick with different nuts, I would need to give it a try. The center caps have raised areas that click in under part of the stock lug nuts.

It does but the stuff is easy to touch up and it blends right in.

if the 2022 XL would have had mainly cruise - power mirrors maybe, kind of nice - I was seriously thinking on one and do the argent wheels on the white truck like my jeep Comanche ones were to be a "memory" of a pu I really liked; black centers with stainless trim rings.

I put some closed chrome lugs on and i think I like the open ones better, but thanks for the idea. I think the chrome just looks to shiny with the matte wheel.
