I am still trying to find a dealer that will do CD as everyone is recommending.

No I worked with Austin, they didn't say anything about mark up but it sounded like there wouldn't be any. If there is, I'll just cancel my purchase.

I can't answer your question regarding CD, but on a related topic, has anyone found a dealer in Northern California that is not adding a dealer mark up to MSRP? Hansel Ford in Santa Rosa is adding $2k. Woodland Ford quoted me a $5-10k markup(!).

As I understand about the dealer in Kansas, they will ship for free, as long as their cost of shipping is less than $1000. Can they ship to CA without charging any additional $$ for shipping?

Im far up the coast in Ridgefield Wa,placed my order in Vancouver Wa earlier today,1k depo.They are adding in 1975.00 as a "special order" fee or something like that,I have no issue with it as I figured with Sales tax and the extras I wanted on an XLT it would be around 30k anyway.

Plus I would assume the prices we are seeing now will likely be going up when these Trucks are on lots as gas prices over 4.00 a gal look to be here to stay for a few years at least.

apparently yes... and worse case I'll do a road trip. It'll be less painful than going to one of the dealers in Seaside.

Which dealer is doing courtesy delivery? Salinas Valley? Cypress Coast?

I ordered mine through Salinas Valley with $100 deposit. Cypress Coast didn't get back to me until about 3 weeks after registering on Ford's website.

CYPRESS COAST never reached out to me. I did drop in and wasnot happy with the attitude of one of the guys when I was asking about maverick, so walked away

I was able to order on June 9 from Marin Ford. I do not think there was any markup that I can tell. They required a $500 deposit which is refundable I believe. When you say CD I'm guessing you don't mean a CD player so what are you referring to?
