Help please. My dealer is not local to me and claims my 2022 Maverick was successfully converted to a 2023 about 10 days ago, but I have got nothing from Ford to confirm and the dealer claims not to know anything about order codes or COVP. All I got from them so far is a purchase agreement with the dealer (not Ford) and they state that my order is status "B" with Ford. I'm continuing to press them, but in the meantime does anyone know what the "B" means?

B almost certainly means "balanced out" which means the truck will not be produced.

There was no "converting" of MY22 orders. A new order had to be entered. It sounds like your dealership is completely clueless and you will not be getting a Maverick.

Sorry. It is important to find good dealerships.

Sorry, converted was the wrong word and I did submit a new order to my dealer. I suspect you are right about B=Balanced and will call Ford Customer Service today to confirm. Thank you!

According to a code sheet I found online "B" may = TO TEST CTR B TO TEST CENTER • Your vehicle has been selected to undergo emission testing. If the order has been in this status for more than five working days, and assistance is required, call the Vehicle Order Processing Center.

This of course makes no sense as it hasn't even been scheduled for production, just another point of confusion on a f'd up process and a shite dealer. Until I talk to someone at Ford I'm gonna assume in my case B= Balanced (no Truck for me).
