Does anyone actually know what priorities are given to orders placed. I have read a lot about Dealer allocations and commodity constraints, which I get.
But when I see someone who ordered the exact same car as mine getting it and I am still waiting it leads me to believe I ordered it from the wrong dealer.
I ordered the lariat, fx4, c360, luxury on 1/15 & I have seen people get them already when they place orders in early February.
My current dealer is also telling me they still cant place 2023 rollover orders, so I am thinking I am losing my place in line sorta speak.
I would Assume that my ordered date of Jan 15th should roll over to 2023, but who knows(?!?).
Here is the question....
I am thinking about starting over and placing a second order with another large dealer.
Has anyone done this and actually got the truck faster ?

In the same boat....ordered on Jan. 14, 2022 and have made it priority 1....still no vin number or production schedule. Ford Customer Service tells me I have a private offer and even gives me a certificate number and amount. So after a trip to the dealer they tell me that they have recieved zero information from Ford. You talk about head spinning!!! So I can't roll my 22 into a 23 yet and may still get my 22 scheduled........whew.

2022 are still being scheduled ? we were told specifically by ford ( the 800 number) that Sept 8th was the cutoff. They said i was priority 2.
I guess the thing to do is wait for my order to get rolled over and check the priority and bitch at the dealer if it is anything over 10.

Has anyone else ordered from a second dealer and received before the original order you placed ?

your 2700 private offer from ford will be good at any dealer.when they order your 2023 maverick of any trim they can look in there "smart-vincent"direck line to ford motor co and get that offer for your not built 2022 maverick.so find the bigest dealership around with the most allow, and select them.if you are willing to let long lewis ford in hoover alabama make that order for you saleman Danial Willis very know on the ford maverick and they are the largest and has been in the ford dealership for over a 100 years no up charge or doc fees just msrp plus tax out the door and you will absolutly get it faster thru them ph#205-340-1421 tell him steve sent you!

No MY22's are still being scheduled. No MY22 orders will automatically 'roll-over' to MY23. You have to contact your dealer to put in a new MY23 order. There is no more 'priority line' - the dealer will set priorities for MY22 orders converted to MY23 and new MY23 orders. All this is according to the @fordvideoguy . Dealers have all been told exactly what to do, so if you haven't been contacted about your MY22 order, call them ASAP. Better yet, go in and have a sit down with them.

The memo from Ford encouraged dealers to use a Priority Code of 10 or 11. But it is not mandatory. I have been looking into this "Priority Code" issue for almost a year. It is a riddle wrapped in an enigma that I finally solved. It's total nonsense. If you think about it, why wouldn't every dealer send all of their orders to Ford with the fastest Priority Code? It doesn't cost them anything. It's no skin off their nose. If you ask 10 dealers about the Ford Priority Code procedure you will get 10 different explanations. When a vehicle is made has to do with two variables. The date it was ordered and factory issues (contraints, options, number of styles on order etc, etc, etc. Even paint colors) It has nothing to do with codes from the dealer.
