Super excited
to say that I placed my order yesterday for a MY2023 Maverick XLT Hybrid! I had planned to order a MY2022 and procrastination got the better of me. In hindsight, I am not disappointed that I waited. The comments, criticisms, topics and even photos shared in this group since I joined in NOV 2021 have helped me make a lot of decisions, and have certainly answered a lot of questions.
My order:
2023 Maverick XLT Hybrid / Atlas Blue Metallic / Luxury Package / Co-Pilot 360 / Power Moon Roof / Remote Start System / Floor Liners
* I know ... there is more than one 'constraint' on that list
As most of you know, the drop in bed liner, bed rails and remote start system were all removed from the LUX package and made standalone options. Personally, that was good for me. The only one of those three options I found a necessity was the remote start system, and I added it back in for $170. I had already discussed with my dealer removing the drop in bed liner and replacing it with spray-in at the dealership, and for the limited amount I'll use the cargo bed, I didn't find the bed rails appealing at all. Just my opinion ...
All in all, I am quite pleased with the MY2023 order and look forward to the confirmation from Ford and getting in line to get my new Maverick built! With the changes in the LUX package and the new MY2023 pricing, my spec only increased in price by $505.
I look forward to keeping the group update on progress ...
