One year with my Little Buddy

It's been a year with Mowgli being my little buddy.


Mowgli has completed 76.15922% of the distance from Indianapolis to Madagascar (7079 miles for those who do not want to do math.) All problem free except having to contact Ford roadside once for a jump start.


Most recent adventure was from Indianapolis to Sandusky Ohio last weekend, 550 miles round trip completed in 7 hours.


Since day one Mowgli has delivered everything I have needed in a pickup truck. Small enough to not be compensating for anything, great in city traffic, great in all weather conditions, great off road, room to haul things around, storage room inside the cab and most of all plenty of room for my 6'6.5" 330lbs figure.


It sits perfect, even after the lift, that my 86 year old mother has no issues entering or exiting the passenger seat.


Was the 11 Month wait from order on 12/28/21 to production date of 11/6/22 to delivery on 11/26/22 worth it, yes.


I have met members from this forum, and enjoyed Cars and Coffee with them, and looking forward to next season Cars and Coffee to start back up, yes us Northerners take the winter off.

That is the first exhaust setup I've seen that I actually like. It's not gaudy or ricey it looks like it belongs on the Maverick.

CV joints are fine and has been. Think it is because the lift is an upfitter like Shelby and Rousch are.

Thanks. The Tip change I think sets it off. The tip with the kit is a stainless and round, I gave that to a friend because I order the rectangle tip the same time I ordered the catback.

Dang, that sounds really good. I'm used to MBRP exhausts for the Fiesta ST, they're loud and really boomy with a ton of resonance but yours sounds much more mature and refined, I like it.

I also like that Escape engine cover, I'll have to see if I can't find one in the wreckers, is there a specific year range to look out for?

The exhaust has gotten deeper over time, but thankfully not ricey.

Not sure on the cover year range. My dealer ordered mine, had it before the Maverick came in.
