I am loving my truck. Coming from a mid level trim Saturn SUV I am very happy with the Lariat with BAP interior and exterior. I have used all of the tech and there is nothing I will not use. It took a little while to gain the trust of the ACC. The tech seems more refined then the 23' Subaru I rented in Iceland and the way it warns you is less alarming (more subtle). The cross-traffic warning is a little alarmist, but I guess since it can't read my mind, I will have to learn to live with it.
I have been driving mostly in Eco and Normal and it looks like I might get over 875Kms (550 miles) from the first tank (so far) according to the estimated distance to empty.
I tried the Sport mode but it seems like a novelty mode with little use.
I have had almost a year to bone up on the good and the bad of the truck and I had flipped through the manual a couple of times so figuring it all out has been quite easy.
I did a lot of research on the eCVT and was looking forward to experiencing it firsthand and it has not disappointed me. Smooth as room temperature butter and plenty of power. I even like how the electric motor gives you a slow creep forward like an idling ICE with a conventional transmission.
I am content with the power and it is quite surprising how quick it can be if you push it, but the urge to get back to battery is so compelling I tend to drive more conservatively most of the time.
I am getting used to the B&O sound system... it is good but different from my last car. Seems to have more base or maybe just not as much treble, but its decent and I seem to be getting used to it.
At 6'2" I am very comfortable but not sure anyone can sit behind me. My wife is 5' so at least we can fit one or maybe 1.5 more people in the back, but most of the time it will just be my dogs.
Overall I think it's a strong 9.9/ 10 and as long as it is dependable it may be close to my last new vehicle.
