I called Ford Marketing on Friday to see if I had a VIN. I did not and the representative told me that I wasn't going to get scheduled for MY22 and I needed to contact my dealer on August 2 to reorder a MY23. I told them I thought scheduling would stop for MY22 August 15th and she said she had not heard about that and to contact my dealer. After I asked some other questions she couldn't (or maybe wouldn't) answer she told me I had to call my dealer. So I called my dealer.

Once I got on the phone with my dealer and gave him my order number he gave me an update on my vehicle (I'm priority 02, clean for scheduling, etc.) I told him that what Ford had told me and he seemed upset about that information and that he hadn't heard any of that and it didn't sound right. He told me that he would call the regional manager and get back to me.

He just called me and said that since I was priority 02 (I have been since May) I would be scheduled before the end of the year. He told me that they built a new plant in Hermosillo for Mavericks and super duties. Then I asked when they were switching over to MY23 and he told me that they wouldn't start producing MY23 until January 2023.

This goes against everything I've heard. I thought they were supposed to switch over to MY23 in October. So what is the real story for scheduling? Are we only getting another 2 months or so of scheduling or do we have to the end of the year?

Ford Marketing (or probably the "customer resource center") only has limited access to information. They aren't going to have all the details.

Yes, 22 Mavericks are still scheduling. Dealers don't know yet for sure which orders won't schedule for 22.

I haven't heard anything about a new plant in Hermosillo....

I think your dealer is confusing dates for Maverick & SD. 22 Maverick production is set to end in late October. Starting 23 Mav production just after that (very end of Oct/early Nov).
22 SuperDuties will be built until late December.
