Ok to take soft tonneau cover into car wash?

I am new Maverick owner, and have only had one pickup truck before. That truck had a cab over the bed so it did not matter to me.

I know it sounds like a silly question, but I have a soft tonneau cover, Can I take it through the car wash? I di not have access to wash it by hand, and really don't like a dirty truck!

Yes you'll be fine. Be sure to use some 303 aerospace protectant on it from time to time, Will keep it looking like new. It'll keep the sun from fading and cracking the vinyl.

I do, no water leak in my OEM soft cover I installed myself.

The only concerning part is the air drivers (blowers) at the exit literally bend the hood in some! It pops back out but man I was thinking I was going to have all kinds of grief the first time it happened.

I only drive through the TOUCH LESS variety when it's too cold to do it in my driveway. You really don't want that big brush rolling across the cover, or the rest of the vehicle for that matter.

I've taken my soft cover through car washes. When I get home, I pop the end of the cover to let it air out as it is not car wash water tight.

I guess we're lucky it's not a steel Hood.

The hood pushing in and popping back out happens with my Maverick as well!
