Whoa dude, I’m on the west coast, no French fry oil here! Thats Quebec. We use the U.S. ‘Freedom oil’Yes, but it's recycled french fry oil so it's greener and smells good.

Been changing my oil for over 50 years and never had any of those problems. As far as hot oil, I learned early on start with a cold engine, drive around the block to warm it slightly and stir up any particulates, then do the oil change.Change your oil when it's hot one time...
And some will tell you you're not wearing out/weakening the threads, or risking cross-threading, over torquing, under torquing, and on and on.....
