Your info sticker on the door or pillar has a code (int tr) see pic see if dealer has something or go to paint store like PPG or sherwin Williams

paint on plastic? Seems like you'd be replacing a scratch with a line of paint

Yes. The scratched surface is a “white” scratch. Want to camouflage the scratch
