NOKIAN Hakka R5 tires & rims installed

Just installed today, the R5 is the newer version of the amazing R3. These should handle anything Mother Nature throws at me in a West Coast winter

Update on these tires. We just had a week of snow and cold. About 15" of snow and ice. The tires were amazing. I put the slippery mode on and only got slightly stuck on one hill. The FWD hybrid was excellent, but the only concern was the rear end was a bit wiggly on corners. No weight in the back and it would break loose but otherwise the Nokians were awesome

Not surprised at the results. Can't beat Hakkas for serious winter conditions like that. I only have Cross Climate 2s but had the same experience in just 3-5 inches and a little ice. The hybrid was super stable and predictable. Just a bit of sliding like you said but that's to be expected if you don't take it easy in a fwd. Plenty of clearance.
