no sound from radio this morning?

no sound from the radio this morning? pushed the "mute" button on the wheel and on the radio several times to see if that was it? Screen working and displayed, just no sound? Going to run out at lunch and try a reset and see if that does anything

That will likely fix it.

For anyone not aware, to reboot your Infotainment system; hold down the Power button and Skip Track Forward until it starts to reboot.

no clue what the issue was, but went out with plans to do the reset, put the key in and turned it to on and the radio was playing???????????? very weird. did start the truck with the fordpass app this morning and when I got in, I got a message that the collision assist was disabled (frost on the windshield), but I've had that before and the radio worked?

I have had multiple issues with no sound and the system staying in the "off" position. What I have found is to disconnect my phone by unplugging the wired connection and magically the radio or other player starts. Resetting the system also works. But try this first as it's a lot faster/easier.

It happens when a manufacturer installs the cheapest informatic system they have and I mean the cheapest one.

I did plug in my phone as soon as I got in the truck this morning, didn't when I went back out to try the reset?

Had the same problem on my 23 XLT. Got the latest infotainment update in early October and haven't had that issue since.

Same thing happened to me. I tried everything I could think of, including restarting the pickup, but to no avail. Then the next morning it was fine again. Will look for the infotainment update.
