No Auto start/stop button on XL hybrid

Am I seeing this right? All I got is the auto hold, traction control and mode selector.

There is no auto start/stop button on the Hybrids.

That is why I will always buy Hybrid from now on. Constant A/C and Heat. Engine already cycles on/ off based on battery levels in a hybrid so much better emissions reduction

Question: why would you want a hybrid to run the ICE all the time, even when it serves no purpose, as determined by the sophisticated computer?

The whole point of a hybrid engine, is to turn off the combustion engine whenever possible.

I don't even notice it turning off or on like I did with my eco, which I did notice at stoplights.

The hybrid system is the auto start and stop

On the Hybrid, the computers decide when the ICE needs to run, based on things like whether it's needed to produce heat for the cabin or other heaters or to maintain HV battery charge if the electric air conditioner compressor is running. And other factors.
